After more than three years of shooting and editing, I am about to release the documentary on Lee Hazlewood. A lot of things happened in the meantime.
When I met Lee and started the movie, he told me the doctors had given him six month to live. He proved them wrong by a year and a half.
These two years we used to meet in several locations on two continents and four countries. He would always call me twenty-four hours ahead of time, asking me to meet him in Stockholm or in Las Vegas, in Berlin or Paris, when he thought there was something worth shooting, be it a recording or a meeting with some friends.
